It’s getting to that time of year again, when the temperature drops, the shops are heaving and all you really want to do is stay in bed and binge on Netflix and wait for Christmas to arrive. When the reality is you still have to go to work, and on your days off end up fighting through the hustle and bustle in search of the perfect gifts.
So just to help you guys out, here’s a gift guide I’ve put together of the things I think would make the perfect gift for your mum, sister, girlfriend or best friends.
For the fragrance lover
A Jo Malone gift set would be such a special present to find under the tree. The packaging is so well done you could even just leave it unwrapped and it would still look amazing. Indulge the Senses is a gift set I personally would choose. Alternatively the Versace Eros Pour Femme Christmas Coffret gift set is stunning and would not go wrong!
For the outdoorsy one
The National Trust membership would make the perfect gift for someone who loves walks, and exploring a little bit of history. With over 500 places to visit they’ll never be bored!
For the beauty lover
What beauty lover doesn’t have Charlotte Tilbury on their wish list?! So here’s one of the most beautiful gift sets, The Golden Goddess that they’ll be sure to fall in love with! It’s the perfect mix of golds and neutrals. If they’re into richer colours, The Vintage Vamp gift set would perhaps be more suited.
For the shoe lover
Shoes can be quite an expensive purchase so I’ll list a high end pair and then a cheaper version, as they can be quite the committment! The pair I love and think are so beautiful at the moment are Fendi’s Monster black leather chelsea boots (Harvery Nichols is about £60 cheaper than Fendi’s website). The detailing on them is just gorgeous. They would be the perfect addition to the bottom of your tree. Alternatively I really like Senso’s Bailey VII black leather ankle boots, I love the zip detailing on them and think they’re quite different to most black ankle boots I’ve seen.. Making them the all the more special.
For the bag lover
Bags can also be super expensive but they last for such a long time! The bag I think would make the most beautiful gift is the Givenchy Antigona sugar small leather tote. I feel like handbags can be quite a personal choice particularly the size, so you may need to go up in size or down to the mini depending on who you’re buying for.
For the creative one
Everyone knows someone who takes photos of everything, so why not provide them with the ideal gift? The Lomography Lomo’Instant Milano Edition Camera is super fun and takes that perfect shot and prints it instantly and is the perfect size to have with them on the go.
For the interior design lover
I don’t know if it’s just me but I think throws can really add something to a room and so that’s why I think it would be the perfect gift for someone who’s into their interior design. They can be placed and laid in such creative ways they can go with almost any style of room. This Herringbow Alpaca throw is super soft and would be lovely to snuggle under over Christmas.
For the music lover
The Sonos Play:1 is a mighty speaker considering its small size, and because of it’s size fits pretty much anywhere. For those who are really into their music, this would make the perfect gift, as it has such good sound quality.
For the chocolate lover
Hotel Chocolat has some of the best chocolates! And so who wouldn’t love to have a massive platter of chocolate sitting under their tree?! The Large Chocolatier’s Table will most certainly make the most delicious gift going!
For the one who loves a bath
Why not give them the ultimate pamper opportunity?! With 28 products to choose from the Lush Legends gift set makes the most beautiful rainbow coloured gift one could ask for!
I hope this helped inspire you for this festive season! These are all gifts I personally would love to recieve and likewise would give to others. I’ve tried to price them all around £150 with a couple of exceptions as I feel they would all make exceptional main presents. Although, for the majority I feel there are definitely cheaper options for the same brands, especially if you buy individual items instead of gift sets. Happy shopping, and Merry Christmas.
